After successfully studying to be an English and Drama teacher I decided to further my passion for acting by training and working with Michael Birch (husband of Jude Kelly) at the West Yorkshire Playhouse.

Whilst at the Playhouse I joined York based director Kathy Denford's improvisation company Risky Things.

Determined to broaden my Professional training, I won hard fought for places at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and The London Centre for Theatre Studies.

Since leaving drama school I have worked with fellow creative Neil Sissons, formerly of Compass Theatre, pioneering new writing projects in association with the Crucible Theatre Sheffield.

Now, you'll find me enjoying the acting work I do amongst British independent film makers, while at the same time taking a lead as the project development director along with Martin Curry for the Sheffield based The Cheap Thrills film Festival initiative.
